A pair of points for the day, one serious, one less so.

First off, comes this article I read today in the Australian newspaper. Linked directly for you all here, it’s a rather sad look at something that’s always touched me incredibly deeply. Something that, much like my last post here with it’s article on human rights, makes me question humanity. At least that was in the past - but then, we don’t learn from the past now, do we?

I’m also in a rather somber mood tonight as I just finished watching Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, which really pushed me to think. One of the saddest shows I have ever watched - in some ways, even sadder than Air… well, as long as I’m not watching the Air arc.

Bit of a saddening day today, really. Nothing majorly sad happened - a few odds and ends from the weekend were cleaned up and I played for a couple of hours with a beautiful kitten named Mittens. Which was, in a reflective way, sad in itself, for related reasons. And reading that article and watching the end of Kiminozo…
