I was going to post a long and somewhat irate rant here tonight, based on certain events™ of the day and the day before today. Oh, and the evening. However, rather than do that, I spoke for a while with Andrew about them (wow, 15 year old psych for the win!) and actually managed to blow off most of the steam. I’m just going to put a brief observation here instead.

When you’re close friends with someone, and you decide, for whatever reason, that they seem to be beyond contempt, and worthy of primarily being ignored and once or twice being jabbed at in conversation… honestly, you need to tell them what’s wrong, especially if nothing at all is apparent. Seriously. Friends accept and forgive - it’s part of the definition. But it’s awfully hard to figure out what’s wrong when there are no indicators or clues.
