Dual updates, I know, how strange - and yet not so, as I thought this should be placed here as well as elsewhere.

I truly had a great night on Saturday, and I will be detailing more about it later, I do promise this. But for those who were not there, I must say that dressing up as Saddam Hussein and dancing the Macarena proved itself a highly amusing diversion… and that watching a Dutch courtesan-spy borrow my mask and then dirty-dance with Ned Kelly was… ah…
^_^
At any rate, the evening was great fun, it was lovely meeting people and I actually did dance for the first time in ages, as well as sang not only Bon Jovi (Livin’ on a Prayer) but Aerosmith (I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing). The company was convivial, the atmosphere enjoyable. Oh, and you were right Tegan - the DJ has the best selection of 80s/90s music ever. ^_^
